Contest Description

Wiley, a leading publisher of photography books, is partnering with SmugMug.com to host the Wiley Photo Challenge, a photography contest that is running through July 31, 2009. Photographers with all levels of experience are invited to submit “Celebrations” themed photos encapsulating their idea of “bliss” for a chance to win cash and other prizes.

Contest Prize & TERMS

Prize Details: * Grand Prize: $500 Visa Gift Card, SmugMug 2-year Pro membership, and a $75 SmugMug Gift Card * First Prize: Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2 software, a choice of Wiley digital photography books ($150 value), SmugMug 1-year Pro membership, and a $50 SmugMug gift card* Second Prize: LowePro camera bag, a choice of Wiley digital photography books ($100 value), and SmugMug 1-year Pro membership* Third Prize: $75 toward a purchase on blurb.com and a choice of Wiley digital photography books ($75 value)

Copyright: Content Restrictions: The Photograph must NOT contain: Nudity, lewd or vulgar behavior. Material that violates or infringes another’s rights, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyright infringement. Brand names or trademarks. Photos of artwork without proper license or ownership. Material that is hateful, tortuous, defamatory, slanderous or libelous. Material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age. Material that is unlawful, in violation of, or contrary to the laws or regulations in any state where the Photograph is created. Failure of any Photograph to comply with the above restrictions (collectively, the “Content Restrictions”), as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, shall result in disqualification.
