Animal Magnetism Photo Contest
Contest Description
Send us your birds and your bees, your lions, and tigers, and bears. We seek photographs that visualize the magnetic attraction that the animal world holds for us as humans.
Although some biologists might quibble, our definition of “animal” includes any multi-cellular creature capable of movement, food ingenstion, and reproduction. So, from fish to fowl, from microscopic creatures to reptiles, from bees to bears –all are welcome in PhotoPlace Gallery’s photographic animal kingdom.
Approximately forty photos will be chosen for exhibition during the month of January. To help defray artists’ expenses, we provide free matting and framing of accepted photographs for the duration of our exhibitions, providing they are sized to fit our pre-cut mats.
JUROR: JOHN WILLIS, Co-Founder and Executive Director, In-Sight Photography Project and Professor of Photography, Marlboro College.
