The Flash Forward Competition for Emerging Photographers from Canada, the USA and the UK is a small but renowned annual incubator of young talent.
Juried by an international committee of respected industry leaders, the competition awards a cash prize of $5,000 CAN to one participant, the Bright Spark Award Winner.
The competition is supported by a high-quality, professionally designed catalogue featuring the Bright Spark Award Winner as well as 90 other emerging artists (30 each from Canada, the USA and the UK) and Honourable Mentions identified as showing great promise by the jury. A curated and internationally circulated exhibition accompanies this annual competition.
Please note that the exhibition mounted in conjunction with the competition features a carefully edited selection of images included in the catalogue.
Contest Prize & TERMS
Prize Details: Bright Spark Award Winner receives a $5,000 CAN cash prize.Eligibility: Entrants must be 34 years-of-age or younger and legal residents of Canada, the USA or the UK
Copyright: Entrants retain full rights to their images. Select images may be used to promote the circulated exhibition and associated publication.
