HAVANA TIMES, Jan. 1, 2010 – HT is happy to announce a second photo contest for our readers.

This time around there will be three categories.

- Cuban Daily Life (Urban)

- Rural Cuba

- Unusual Cuba Photos

Photos Must be 250 KB or smaller. All larger photos will be discounted.

If you are not familiar with reducing photos, please ask a friend for help so as to not have your pictures disqualified.

Each photo should have a caption or title.

Each participant can send a maximum of three entries for each category (total of 9 photos).

A Havana Times jury will judge the photos and, like in our first contest, we will publish the semifinalists, finalists and winners.

In sending us your photos, as a condition you will be giving Havana Times the right to use them in our online publication with your by-line.

The First Place photo in each of the three categories will have a US $75 prize and a US $25 Second Prize, as well as a special mention. We will announce the winners by the end of May, 2010.
