We are looking for high quality images taken of or within any area managed by the Alaska Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation (DPOR) during any season and from any year. Images of the four parks which were designated in 1970, Chilkat, Kachemak Bay, Chugach and Denali, are strongly encouraged.
There are no specific categories for the contest; photos can include, but are not limited to, any of the following:
• People travelling, playing, resting or working NOTE: A Model Photo Release form must accompany each photo with identifiable subjects.
• Plants, animals, fish and birds
• Scenic views
• Historic structures or sites
• Aerial or underwater perspectives

COPYRIGHT: Winning photos may be used to create 18” x 24” commemorative posters for the 40th Anniversary of Alaska State Parks. Additionally, any of the photos submitted may be used by DPOR for educational, informational and promotional purposes in printed or on‐line materials, including a manuscript currently in progress detailing Alaska State Parks’ first 40 years. Photos used in published materials will credit the photographer unless otherwise requested by the entrant.
