We are looking for photographs of human interaction with water in reference to four thematic categories listed below * water can be visualised as a liquid, gas or solid*The following are suggestions of the kinds of photographs that can be submitted under each theme. They are meant to be illustrative and not restrictive. Applicants are encouraged to be creative in how they communicate these topics.

1.Livelihoods & Sustainability
Photographs could include people using water for their everyday use or in their communities, the use of water for small and large scale production of agriculture, fishing, beverage or other industries.

2.Trade & Transport
Photographs of any transportation on water, or water as a means of exchanging commodities.

3.Management & Access
Photographs which explore issues of access, sanitation, mismanagement, and the economic and power relationships that are linked to water.

4.Religion & Spirituality
Photographs of religious rituals (baptisms, exorcisms, etc.) or holy waters, water with sacred properties or water used in spiritual celebrations.
