Contest Description

logo.JPG (20 KB)Most books about Houston showcase a single photographer’s pictures. Many of these books focus on showing what our city looks like. It’s time for a different approach!

We don’t want documentary images that simply describe a building. Instead, we want your diverse and unique interepretations of Houston’s cityscape. We want photos in which you create your own realities out of Houston’s archtiecture and other structures.

Everyone is invited to submit their work. Submissions are FREE. The Kaleidoscope Project will select about 50 photographs for a book that is as diverse as Houston’s population.

This book will offer a new and unfamiliar perspective on Houston’s landmarks and back alleys alike. It will show us our city in ways we have never seen it before and it will showcase the talents of many local and visiting photographers. Submit your work today!
