It’s time to get the camera out again as our Scottish Canals Photograph Competition returns for 2010! There is a category for everyone with a wide variety of prizes on offer
Category 0-8 year olds : Open to any photograph taken on Scotland’s canal network by youngsters 8 years old and below.
Category 9-17 year olds : Open to any photograph taken on Scotland’s canal network by anyone within the age group.
18 and over: This year there are 4 individual categories: Buildings & Structures, People & Places, Environment & Wildlife, Boats & Water
New for 2010: Paddle Power
To reflect the increasing popularity of paddling on the canal network (i.e. canoeing, kayaking etc.), this category is open to any image taken on Scotland’s canals of paddling activity. The winning prize is £100 worth of vouchers for Tiso.
Contest Prize & TERMS
Category 9-17 year olds:£100 worth of vouchers for Toys R Us.
18 and over :£150 worth of vouchers for Jessops
Paddle Power: £100 worth of vouchers for Tiso
There will also be family passes to The Falkirk Wheel for the best entry within each category.
