Flows are an integral property of the human experience. They influence our actions as individuals and as a society. From Dance to Migration, from Energy to Pilgrimage, flows can take many forms. Flows may be voluntary or forced, invited or constrained.
HUMAN FLOWS is a photographic call for submissions in search of compelling images that explore such flows in all their manifestations. Image categories include but are not limited to: Dance, Body, Energy, Migration, Pilgrimage, and Protest.
50 photographs will be selected by a prestigious jury of photography professionals and academics for an exhibition at the University of Cambridge. The launch of the exhibition in February 2013 will be marked by a public symposium on the theme of Human Flows.
