The search for the iconic cricket photograph of 2012 is underway, as Wisden and MCC in association with Park Cameras have joined forces for a third consecutive year in a bid to find the best cricket-themed image taken during the past twelve months.
In 2012 the winning images will be selected by a panel of independent expert judges appointed by Wisden and MCC, headed by former Chief Sports Photographer for The Sunday Times, Chris Smith.
Joining Smith on the panel for the first time will be Essex cricketer and keen amateur photographer, Graham Napier. A shortlist of eleven entries will initially be chosen, from which a winner and two runners-up will be announced.
